How Can I Look Like a Model?

Overview

how can look like model? : Overview
It is the dream of many young girls to become a fashion runway model. Unfortunately, it's not always a realistic ambition. Modeling is a very lucrative and competitive field that only opens its doors for some. However, even if you can't be a model, there's no reason why you can't look like one.

Step 1

Have confidence in yourself. The outside of the person is just that--the outside. The inside is what you are and is what makes you an individual. Of course, the packaging is very important but the foundation of who you are is what makes the packaging appealing. The main component of how to look like a model is about feeling like one and having confidence that shows.

Step 2

Learn beauty tips. This is very important if you want to look like a model. You can research makeup tips online or you can go to your local mall and get a free makeover. Most makeup counters will offer to give you a makeover while teaching you tricks of the trade and insights on how to create unique looks. They will show you how to play up your eyes, how to apply your makeup and what colors go best with what season.

Step 3

Educate yourself about skin care products. You can use all the makeup in the world to cover flaws on your skin, but wouldn't it be nice to just have flawless skin? Taking care of your skin is essential if you want to look like a model. Ever notice how young and supple a model's skin looks? It's because they choose the best products for their skin type. If you do not know what to choose, try getting samples from makeup counters. Always test the products on your arm first to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction. If you have sensitive skin, use products that are hypoallergenic and scent-free. If you have small wrinkles, try using specialty creams for wrinkles decrease.

Step 4

Find the right hairstylist. In order to look like a model, your hair also needs to look fashionable and current. You can find a hairstylist by opening up the phone book and hoping you get lucky, or you can ask around. It may be a little awkward but if you want model-like hair, find someone with hair you like and ask them where they go. The worse they can do is say no, but chances are if you tell them you love their hair they will be so flattered they'll tell you where they go.

Step 5

Pick the right outfits. Once you've mastered the hair, skin and makeup, it's time to pick the right outfit. Pick your favorite magazine and your favorite outfit in that magazine. You may not be able to get the exact same outfit because of price or season but you can find similar items at any department store.

TIPS AND WARNINGS

  • TIP : Remember, looking and feeling like a model is all up to you. Whether you are plus size or petite, it's all in how you act and carry yourself. Always be confident and people will notice you and look at you differently.
  • WARNING : Do not starve yourself or develop an eating disorder just so you can look like a model. Many women and girls are trying to live up to unhealthy and unrealistic standards just to look like their favorite model. This can only lead to health problems and self-esteem issues.
